TRADE SHOWS ARE BACK MARCH 2021 – HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

It has been a wild year, full of ups and downs. Thankfully, as we move away from the worst moments of 2020's global pandemic, our industry is slowly making its way back to some sense of normalcy (kind of). The first in-person events are coming up this March with optimum safety.  WE'LL BE THERE FOR BACK-TO-BACK (SOCIALLY-DISTANT) TRADE SHOWS.   We're starting the trade show season off with a bang! Windship Trading Co. is co-sponsoring the first ever  HQ Event, presented by SSE Group in New Orleans the first week of March. The following week, we'll be traveling to sunny Orlando, Florida for the previously postponed Winter CHAMPS Trade Show.  The organizers of both events are taking every measure possible to ensure a safe and productive environment at each show. Read on to learn more about what we're doing to stay vigilant in preventing the spread of Covid-19. You'll also find full event details and a sneak peek of what to expect at the Windship Trading booth.

FROM NOLA TO ORLANDO: A TRADE SHOW RECAP

We've all been itching to get back to the grind, and after a full year and some odd months, we finally got a little taste of the good ol' days: in-person trade shows. And it feels good to be back! This month, we packed up and traveled to New Orleans for the HQ Event, sponsored by SSE. About a week later, Windship Trading trucked along to Orlando for the Winter Champs Trade Show. Do pandemic-era trade shows work? Here's our feedback.  These being our first shows post-Covid, we weren't sure what to expect - Will it be safe? Will people show up? Is it even worth it? Before heading to the first show, minds raced with questions, and uncertainty filled the air. Still, the Windship Team was up for the challenge.  As it turns out, pandemic-era trade shows can work and everyone was more than prepared. The event hosts and facility coordinators were accommodating, professional, clean, and operated with hygiene, health, and safety in mind. Yet, no one was overly strict or imposing. As long as you followed a few safety guidelines, everyone encouraged the usual hybrid blend of business and pleasure that we've all become accustomed to finding at these events.

MYTHS, LEGENDS, AND CANNALORE: THE HISTORY OF 420

420: THE UBIQUITOUS CODEWORD THAT SPARKED A GLOBAL CANNABIS MOVEMENT. 420 is the quintessential cannabis expression that has evolved from offbeat slang to universal code, eventually becoming a tradition unofficially observed every year on April 20th. It's a day to celebrate the beatific herb many enjoy so much, as well as a day to support cannabis activism and social justice. Hell, it's a full-on lifestyle, really. But, why "420"?
